Capture the festivities and joyful charm of the 30^th Annual Victorian Stroll for the 2012 Photo Contest. This contest is open to amateur photographers only.  Photos must be of the 2012 Victorian Stroll and submitted by Tuesday, December 4 at 5 p.m. Contestants can upload their photo entries here at a site hosted by The Record.

Voting takes place from Tuesday, December4 at 5 p.m. to Tuesday, December 11 at 5 p.m. Click here to vote.

The chosen “Fan Favorite” will be awarded a "Troy Evening Out" package including Troy Music Hall tickets and a $50 gift certificate to a Troy restaurant.

The winning submission and contestant will be posted on the Chamber’s website. All entries become property of the Rensselaer County Regional Chamber of Commerce to be used for marketing materials and collateral. Please see official rules and release/terms of use below.

Official Rules/Terms of Use:

• Each submitted photograph, in its entirety, must be a single work of original material taken by the Contest entrant. By entering the Contest, entrant represents, acknowledges, and warrants that the submitted photograph is an original work created solely by the entrant, that the photograph does not infringe on the copyrights, trademarks, moral rights, rights of privacy/publicity or intellectual property rights of any person or entity, that the photography was taken at the 2012 Victorian Stroll and that no other party has any right, title, claim or interest in the photograph.
• The photograph must not, in the sole and unfettered discretion of the RCRCC, contain obscene, provocative, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate content. Photographs deemed inappropriate will be disqualified.
• Photographs that include sculptures, statues, paintings, and other works of art will be accepted as long as they do not constitute copyright infringement or fraud; provided that entrants must be prepared to provide a release form as described below in "Releases/Terms of Use." When photographing the work of others, it must be as an object in its environment and not a full-frame close up of another person's art.
• Entries become the property of Rensselaer County Regional Chamber of Commerce and will not be returned or acknowledged.

Release/Terms of Use:

 I hereby grant to Rensselaer County Regional Chamber of Commerce (RCRCC) a royalty-free, perpetual license to use the photographic images submitted herewith (the "Work") for any purpose whatsoever. Uses may include, but are not limited to, promotion of RCRCC and their projects (including the Victorian Stroll) in any way, including on the web, and in print publications, as distributed to the media. RCRCC reserves the right to use/not use any Work as deemed appropriate by RCRCC in their sole discretion. No Work will be returned once submitted.

I understand that by submitting this photograph, I hereby acknowledge that RCRCC shall bear no responsibility whatsoever for protecting my work against third party infringement of my copyright interest or other intellectual property rights or other rights I may hold in such Work, and in no way shall be responsible for any losses I may suffer as a result of any such infringement; and I hereby represent and warrant that my Work does not infringe the rights of any other individual or entity.

In exchange for valuable consideration, I do hereby unconditionally release, hold harmless and indemnify RCRCC, their directors, officers, members, employees and volunteers of and from all claims, liabilities and losses arising out of or in connection with my participation in the contest, or RCRCC’s use of my Work. This release and indemnification shall be binding upon me, and my heirs, executors, administrators and assigns.
